A 45 year old man has been charged after allegedly stabbing another man in the hand in Armidale yesterday.
Officers say an altercation broke out at a Brown Street address before the 24 year old injured man fled to a nearby Bunnings store.
He underwent surgery at Armidale Hospital overnight.
The older man has been granted conditional bail to appear in Armidale Court next month.
