From a personal perspective, the opening leg of the World Rugby Sevens Series couldn’t have gone any better for Tamworth’s John Porch.
The Aussie flyer finished the Dubai tournament as the carnival’s leading point scorer.
Porch scoring 54-points in total, as Australia finished in fourth place overall.
The Aussie men now head to Cape Town next weekend for the second round of the World Series.
