BOAT CAPSIZES OFF LAKE MACQUARIE – SIX PEOPLE RESCUED

Six people have been plucked from the ocean by Marine Rescue volunteers, after their outrigger canoe capsized near Newcastle.

The emergency comes as a timely reminder for boaties to check conditions, as our waterways enter peak season.
