The dogs will make their long-awaited return to Gunnedah Greyhound Racing Club tonight, with a series of trial events.
The track was out of action for almost 12 months – closed due to safety concerns.
Now, after almost half-a-million dollars worth of upgrades, trials will be held tonight to see the it officially reopened ahead of Gunnedah’s meet this Sunday.
The track will then host a dozen races between now and July, giving locals trainers plenty to look forward to.
