An upgrade to David Taylor Oval could see more sporting teams call Werris Creek home.
Tamworth MP Kevin Anderson today announced a $247,000 funding grant, through the Stronger Country Communities Fund.
The new amenities will include change rooms with showers, as well as provide additional upgrades to the grandstand and commentary-box.
It’s hoped the revamp will encourage more recreational and sporting activity in the area.
