Tamworth is set to host another NRL match this year – this time, between the Tigers and the Titans in Round 7.
Tamworth Regional Council has put up $20,000 to sponsor the match at Scully Park on April 27.
It hopes around 10,000 fans will pack the stands.
Last year’s match added $2.1-million to the region’s economy.
