Alstonville High school will soon have its very own mountain bike track, thanks to the hard work of devoted Year 9 students.
A federal government grant of $10,000 has been assigned to the project, which will give keen riders a chance to develop their skills.
“It’s going to have a loop around the outside and then a technical section on the inside.”
“Getting them active, giving them the mobility, giving them those skills are really important, so anything we can do to encourage that is a good idea.”
Construction is set to start this week.
