Free all-day parking in the Lismore Base Hospital precinct is on its way after a council meeting last night.
Parking restrictions in Laurel Avenue, and Weaver and Mckenzie Steeets, have also been waived in response to the COVID-19 pandemic for six months.
The Tweed Shire Council has confirmed that it will not enforce parking restrictions in streets surrounding public hospitals for the foreseeable future.
