Round one of the northern and southern conference football matches held yesterday
saw the Macleay Valley Rangers post an impressive win over Port United.
While the Port Saints had a big win over Taree,
Boambee, North Coast and Coffs United also walked away victorious.
It was a big night for the Lions too, they were presented with a Coastal Premier League trophy, after winning the competition last week.
The CPL competition was put on ice after round one when new COVID-19 restrictions came into place.
