The Wilsons and Richmond rivers remain on minor flood watch tonight as a weakening low pressure trough moves across the North Coast.
The Lismore SES was called to 14 incidents yesterday, which included leaking roofs, fallen trees and requests for sandbags.
“We’ll be on alert given the fact that the forecast is for a rather wet summer. The situation is so volatile that you know we could get heavy rain but at the moment it’s looking pretty good”,” Lismore SES Flood Intelligence Officer, Ed Bennett, said.
NBN News weatherman Gavin Morris will have more on the forecast tonight at 6pm.
