A serious head on crash at Saumarez Ponds, west of Armidale, has left four people seriously injured.
The accident occurred at 8.30 this morning, with emergency services needing to free a number of people trapped inside.
Two patients were airlifted to John Hunter Hospital with head injuries.
Another two were transported to Tamworth Base Hospital for further treatment.
