A 44-year-old Tweed Heads man was refused bail after being charged with sexual act offences.
It’s alleged the man was seen performing a lewd act at a playground near Jack Evans Boat Harbour.
Following investigations, police say they located the man with a pair of binoculars, two knives and other items believed to have been stolen.
He pled not guilty and will reappear next month.
