WRIGHT ENDS SLATER’S TILT AT 10TH TITLE

South Coast surfer Owen Wright has upstaged defending world champion Kelly Slater, eliminating him in round 2 of the tour event in Portugal.

The 19-year-old wildcard has also ended Slater’s chances of taking out title number 10.
