CALLS FOR BAR DREDGING FOLLOWING ANOTHER CAPSIZE

There’s renewed calls for sand dredging at the dangerous Tweed Bar, after another boat capsized at the weekend.

The area’s marine rescue is warning boaties to take care, with dredging scheduled for this week postponed until the New Year.
