GALLIFUOCO GOAL AND BIRIGHITTI BRILLIANCE IN FIRST HOME WIN
It wasn’t pretty but the Mariners climbed to sixth on the A-League ladder with after the weekend’s win. A deflected goal by Giancarlo Gallifuoco was the difference, as well as heroics from keeper Mark Birighitti – recording the club’s first clean sheet in 639 days.

NEWCASTLE 500: CLEAN SWEEP FOR KING
To the Newcastle 500 and the Central Coast’s Luke King has finished a stellar weekend of racing with his first clean sweep. The 29-year-old seeing out the Toyota 86 series with runner-up honours.
