In Central Coast rugby league, reigning champions – The Entrance – could be without Sione Tonga in this weekend’s grand final. The star halfback is out due to injury, as the side prepares to take on Wyong in its fourth consecutive decider.  

More than 500 of the state’s best lawn bowlers have hit the greens at Ettalong for the New South Wales Championships. The Central Coast’s James Cook is out to secure the Open Singles Title, winning his first two rounds today.

The Entrance Tigers have stormed into the Central Coast Rugby League Grand Final scoring eight unanswered tries against Erina. The reigning premiers could go back to back for the first time since 2008 and 2009, but face a formidable task against the star-studded Wyong Roos.  

The reigning premiers Killarney have booked their spot in the Central Coast football Grand Final. It comes after the Terriers engineered a one-goal win in yesterday’s preliminary final against Southern Ettalong.
