To local rugby union – and Terrigal has taken out the silverware for the third time in four years. The Trojans piled on 76-points on top of the Gosford Red Devils.  

Long standing rivals, The Entrance and Wyong, will be looking to secure a crucial win in tomorrows’ Central Coast rugby league semi-final. Tigers star player Adam McGuinness is out with an ankle injury, while the Roo’s are coming back from a two week break.

The Mariners were back at training this morning, ahead of their FFA match against Victorian NPL side Hume City. The yellow and Navy will be looking to continue their good form – off the back of a successful Tasmanian Tour.

After causing a massive upset last week – Gosford is busy preparing for its first Rugby Union Grand Final since 2011. But to claim the silverware – the Red Devils first need to defeat minor premiers the Terrigal Trojans on Saturday.

Woongarrah FC is through to the Major Semi in Central Coast Football following a thrilling win over Terrigal United. There were some stunning strikes, brilliant saves and just one goal separating the teams after 90 minutes.  

The Entrance coach Shane Wooden admits his side was a little flat in the opening half of the Central Coast Rugby League Qualifying Final. The reigning premiers were down 12-nil, but found their mojo to defeat The Roosters and set up a blockbuster with Wyong this weekend.  

Gosford will face Terrigal in its first rugby union grand final since 2011. The Red Devils outclassed Ourimbah yesterday – causing a major upset for the defending premiers.
