Avoca has kicked off the Central Coast Hunter surf boat series in style – leading the pack after today’s season opener. The club was one of 14 racing at Ocean Beach for first of four round of competition.

Ocean Beach to host Surf Boat Series opening round
The Central Coast will host two rounds of this season’s Surf Boat Series, with the best local and Hunter crews in action tomorrow at Ocean Beach. Rounds two and three will be held at Scotts Head, followed by Caves Beach. The fifth and final event will be held at Terrigal, next February.
