McDERMOTT SOARS IN SWITZERLAND
Olympic silver medallist Nicola McDermott was back in action for the first time since the Tokyo Games, finishing third in the Diamond League in Switzerland. There’s little rest for the 24 year-old field athlete, competing in Paris this weekend.

AUSTRALIA FINISHES ON TOP IN MARATHON RUN
The first “1,000 Miles to Light” has wrapped up – with the 10-day marathon run organised by the Copacabana’s, Pat Farmer. The event was restricted to only two teams – with Australia taking the win.

CENTRAL COAST JUNIOR TO FEATURE IN SUPER NETBALL GRAND FINAL
Central Coast Heart’s netball season has been abandoned, due to the lockdown restrictions. The girls were close to making the grand final, climbing to third on the ladder before the announcement.

Faith Nathan is back in Sydney, after making her Olympic Games debut in the Rugby Sevens. After finishing fifth, the 21-year-old is hungrier than ever to triumph on the world stage.

Chittaway Bay triathlete Stella Norris has been named in the New South Wales Emerging Talent Squad. The 15-year-old is also focused on re-qualifying for the World Duathlon and Biathlon Championships.
