Wade Carmichael has been outclassed by adopted Novocastrian Julian Wilson in the Rottnest Search round of 32. The Avoca surfer couldn’t keep up with Wilson, who produced an impressive eight-point ride early in the heat. Carmichael was eliminated, along with fellow Central Coast product Macy Callaghan.
