PILOT DIES IN HUNTER PLANE CRASH
A homebuilt light plane has nosedived and crashed just metres from a runway in the Hunter Valley, killing an experienced pilot. Attempts were made to contact the pilot when smoke was spotted trailing from the aircraft this morning, residents even rushing to help save the 44-year-old’s life.
