Dominating the Australian Stand-up Paddle Board titles on the Gold Coast last week… Ty Judson took home gold. The 20-year-old will now switch to surfing, competing on a longboard in Phuket tomorrow.

The Australian National Touch Championships continued today at Coffs Harbour with the inclusion for the first time of an All Abilities competition. Seven teams from five regions are taking part.

HOCKEY SEASON SET TO GET UNDERWAY IN MANNING VALLEY
The hockey season is about to start in the Manning Valley, a little earlier than usual. There’s still time to register for the 20-round competition, and Taree will host the women’s state championships in July.

The “no vacancy” signs are all over Coffs Harbour for the second time in a fortnight. Two weeks ago it was Elton John, but today the C.ex International stadium is hosting the National Touch League.

WHEELCHAIR RACER ONE STEP CLOSER TO PARALYMPIC GAMES
Wingham wheelchair racer, Luke Bailey, is a step closer to qualifying for the Tokyo Paralympic Games. The 22-year-old recorded a narrow win in Canberra, and is looking ahead to nationals at Homebush.
