CHATHAM WIN NINTH CONSECUTIVE HOCKEY TITLE
The Chatham Wolves have once again claimed the Manning Valley hockey men’s grand final, despite having some key players sidelined due to injury. It was the clubs ninth consecutive premiership title – defeating the Sharks by three goals. Meanwhile Town claimed the women’s premiership and the Sharks were victorious in the under 15’s.

TWO FORSTER PADDLERS WIN GOLD AT DRAGON BOAT WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
Two Forster paddlers have returned home, after winning gold at the Dragon Boat World Championships. They were among a contingent of Australians who brought home a total of 60 medals from the event in Thailand.

Out of eighteen schools, Lake Cathie has claimed first place in this years Mid Coast Futsal School championship. Now in its fifth year, Port Macquarie organisers attribute the keen competition to the rapid growth in the sport across the Hastings.
