League legend Danny Buderus has been chosen to join the NRL Hall of Fame. The now retired player has come a long way since starting the game in Taree, but credits his success to those early years.

Port Macquaries’ best senior golfers took to the fairway on Tuesday for the annual Ladies Gala Day. The two-day ladies competition teed off today, with the strongest local support in years.

The second round of the group three semi finals has seen Wauchope claim a home ground grand final. In a close game, the Blues managed to get a win over the Macleay Valley Mustangs.

GHOSTS END PANTHERS SEASON
The Grafton Ghosts are set to bring a competitive game when they take on minor premiers, Coffs Harbour, in next weekend’s grand final. The Ghosts ended Sawtell’s season yesterday making easy work of the Panthers with a 44 to 16 points win.
