GRAFTON CUP DAY DRAWS IN BIG CROWDS
The day didn’t disappoint, with thousands enjoying being back trackside for the town’s famous Cup Day. Headlined by jockey – Hugh Bowman – crowds were treated to a showcase of country racing.

Indigenous All Stars Captain Richie Roberts proved his experience made for a successful All Stars Round, after a gutsy display at Kempsey. His hat-trick pushing the Indigenous All Stars to victory, claiming a 34-20 win.

MACKSVILLE TAKE CONVINCING WIN OVER SAWTELL IN GROUP 2
Macksville have notched a much-needed win over Sawtell in Group 2 Rugby League, beating the team 58 to 4. Orara Valley also won against the Nambucca Roosters, keeping their position at the top of the ladder.

SOUTH GRAFTON REBELS KNOCK OFF LADDER LEADERS
A late comeback from the Grafton Ghosts saw the 2019 Group 2 premiers steal victory from the Coffs Harbour Comets in round 11. And further south the South Grafton Rebels produced the upset of the season, defeating ladder leaders Woolgoolga on their home turf.

GROUP 3 ALL STARS CLASH AT KEMPSEY TOMORROW
In good news for Group 3 – the competition has the green light to hold the All Stars clash in Kempsey, despite flooding across the region. It’ll be the first representative day of its kind held locally, in 3 years.
