Toby Farrar and Godiva Kim have won this year’s Jack Newton North Coast Junior Masters. Held at Port Macquarie’s Emerald Downs for the first time due to wet weather – the change of venue didn’t help the local favourites.

HOCKEY COFFS COAST U18s BOYS TAKE STATE TITLE
The Under 18s Coffs Coast Boys rep team are now state champions – defeating Metro South West 4-nil at the Field State Hockey Championships. Held in Sydney, Michael Woodgate and Josh Perry starred for Coffs scoring two-goals each.

WNBL star Alex Bunton is spending her off-season on the Mid North Coast and has signed up for an event in December, that hits close to home. Bunton today helping launch the second Ball Against Domestic Violence Charity event in Coffs Harbour.
