Metropolitan teams have dominated the National Touch Championship finals in Coffs Harbour today. The South Queensland Sharks and Sydney Scorpions playing in five division finals each.

There’ll be a full schedule for Group 2’s third round, as six teams come off a forced hiatus caused by wet fields. Nambucca and Woolgoolga are yet to put points on the board, with the two going head to head at the Aquarium on Sunday.

A try-scoring bonanza in Group 2’s only game yesterday – the South Grafton Rebels proving too strong for Sawtell, walking away with a 40-14 win. The Panthers gave their rivals a scare early, before fatigue set in, and the Rebels capitalised.
