The Nambucca Roosters have been thrown a lifeline – they have one week to meet Group 2 entry criteria to play next season. The good news comes just four days after the Group AGM, where the club was told it was ineligible to compete in 2022.

NAMBUCCA ROOSTERS TO APPEAL DECISION ON GROUP 2 RE-ENTRY
The Nambucca Roosters have again failed to rejoin Group 2. The association says despite it’s proud history, the club failed to meet all the necessary criteria, but the Roosters aren’t giving up on other options to play next season.

ORARA VALLEY AXEMAN HAVE MEET & GREET WITH NEW COACH, SAM BURGESS
Sam Burgess has met with the Orara Valley Axemen for the first time – ahead of coaching the side next season. The former South Sydney didn’t give an interview – but gave the squad plenty of direction.

RALLYCROSS STATE CHAMPIONSHOPS HELD IN RALEIGH
25 competitors have battled it out in the Rallycross State Championship at Raleigh Raceway this weekend. Local, Troy Haworth took out the title, with a total lap time of four minutes, 23 seconds.

CHOPPY CONDITIONS FOR ROUND 1 OF NORTH COAST SURF BOAT SERIES
41 crews took to the water today for the first round of the North Coast Surf Boat Series. Teams from Woolgoolga, Wauchope-Bonny Hills and Stockton, putting their stamp on the series early.

GROUP 2 AGM ON TUESDAY WILL BE ONE OF THE BIGGEST IN 5 YEARS
Group 2 may once again be a nine-team competition if three clubs are voted back in at Tuesday night’s AGM. It’s just one item on a lengthy list up for discussion – including the new points system and referee shortage.

North Coast Bulldogs representative players have until Christmas to prove they’re worthy of a spot in the Andrew Johns and Laurie Daley Cup sides. More than 100 players are vying for 50 spots.

COFFS CHARGERS CHOOSE YOUTHFUL AND ATHLETIC SIDE FOR REGIONAL BASH SERIES
The Coffs Coast Chargers will have a youthful and athletic side for this year’s Regional Bash Series. Their campaign starts in Ballina on December 4 with a round robin style competition- where they’ll look to secure a spot in the finals series at the SCG.
