The Port Macquarie Makos Under 20s Mens side are this year’s State Cup winners, smashing the Orange Thunder 8 to 1. Meanwhile, the Makos Womens Open B team were defeated by Sydney’s Western Suburbs. The Macksville Womens Under 20s side were also defeated in the semi final against Manly.

A howling nor-easter at Scotts Head this morning saw today’s round of the North Coast Surf Boat Series called off. 86 crews from the Central Coast, Hunter and the north coast took part in the two days of racing.
