It’s been a chaotic off-season for the Tamworth Water Polo Association, with tight water restrictions jeopardising their competition. But, with the re-opening of Scully Park Pool, the club is now in full swing for the season ahead.

The representative cricket season is underway in the North West, with Tamworth hosting Narrabri in the War Veterans Cup. The visitors proved too good, with Narrabri batsman Nick Smart scoring 76 runs.
