Tamworth’s Taekwondo Club is hosting a free training session at Bicentennial Park tomorrow night. It’s encouraging anyone who wants to learn valuable lessons in self-defence to come along and try it out.

The response to this year’s Gum Tree Championships has surprised organisers, with numbers initially expected to be down. Today, more than 200 shooters took to the Gunnedah Sporting Clays Club, for the longest continual shoot in the country.

Around 120 police officers from five teams came together for charity today at Ken Chillingworth Oval. The winners of this year’s New South Wales Police Country Cup were the Oxley Cods, the locals beating the Western Warriors in the decider.
