Inverell cyclist Dylan Sunderland will take a massive step in his career next year, after signing with Team Dimension Data. The move will see the 23-year-old compete on the World-Tour – stepping-up from the Continental and Pro-Continental circuits. Jack Cutcliffe was a year-11 student at McCarthy Catholic College when his life was tragically cut short. Last night’s friendly rugby matches paid tribute to the much loved school boy.

Armidale helicopter-turned-jet pilot Lachie Onslow has finished second in the final of the ‘Silver Jet’ category, at this year’s Reno Air Race in Nevada. Tamworth’s budding cricket stars will be able to show off their skills at a new riverside facility. With special lanes for spin and pace bowling, it’s hoped the project will inspire the next generation of local cricket legends.
