The Tamworth Water Polo season wrapped up yesterday, with both the men’s and women’s grand finals producing high scoring affairs. The women’s decider won by Tamworth High School, while Eco Energy claimed the men’s.

The Greater Northern Tigers will have to overcome the undefeated Western Rams tomorrow, if they’re any chance of progressing to the final of the Andrew Johns Cup. FORMER RUGBY INTERNATIONAL APPOINTED HEAD COACH OF UNE LIONS
The Australian University Sevens series doesn’t officially kick-off until August, though the U-N-E Lions have already got the ball rolling for the season ahead. Recently appointing a new head coach – former Lions player and rugby international – Inge Visser.

TAMWORTH WATER POLO SEASON TO WRAP-UP WITH FULL DAY OF GRAND FINALS
A massive day ahead for the Tamworth Water Polo Association, tomorrow, with the club’s grand finals being played at Scully Park Pool. The first match getting underway at 10am, with the C-grade schoolgirls decider. The women’s A-grade grand final starts at 2pm, followed by the men’s open competition at 3pm.
