Quirindi’s Michael Slade missed out on winning the 500 CC long track slider state title at his home track but was still able to stand on the podium, finising third. Meanwhile Ipswich’s Jed List was crowned state champion.

The Kootingal Roosters put in a dominant performance against the Boggabri Kangaroos, holding them scoreless until half time. The Kangas did managed to fight back in the second half, but it wasn’t enough.
