The 50th annual Futurity show will soon return to the country music capital for a week of horse cutting, campdraft, and working dog trials. The National Cutting Horse Association will also host the very first Legends Cutting.

The Kootingal Roosters will take on the Boggabri Roos in this weekend’s Group 4 match. It’s the first time the sides will play each other this season – and it’s expected to be a nail-biting match.

Umpires involved with North West AFL are in the spotlight this week. It shines the light on what rule enforcers do for the sport, and hopes to get more people involved.

The Armidale School will look to steal the Dick Hodgson Shield off Farrer Memorial Agricultural High School – as students go head-to-head this week. The competition will see students compete in seven different sports, for two hotly-contested shields.

Revheads from near and far have descended on Tamworth for the 14th Charlie McGarva Memorial Classic. Spectators were treated to a series of thrills AND spills – all, in recognition of a man who loved the speedway.
