Tamworth Mountain Bikers Club has wrapped up the year with a three hour trail event held at the city’s mountain bike park. The social event highlighting the endurance of the sporting community.

Tamworth Sporting Car Club has held its final lap dash of the year, finishing up what was a bumpy racing season. With restrictions and wet weather slowing things down, today’s race gave drivers the chance for one last hurrah.

Fit, fun and friendly Saturday mornings are back, with Tamworth’s Park Run given the green light. Community members are thrilled to be back together after a hefty COVID induced intermission.

Tamworth Jockey club is now home to a $1.6 million refurbished sand track. It’s hoped the upgrade will draw more horses, trainers, and riders to the region.

Tickets will soon be on sale for the Tigers and Sharks NRL match in Tamworth next year. After multiple cancellations the event will run on August 13 at Scully Park.
