Driver’s lucky escape after flipping car in Casino
A driver has had a lucky escape, after her car flipped in Casino yesterday. Just after 6pm, the 29-year-old’s car collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Johnston street and Walker street. She was taken Lismore Base Hospital for assessment. Lismore flood victims will feature in an exhibition at NSW Parliament House. The state member for Lismore has arranged for the portraits of flood survivors to be displayed from next month. The exhibition, titled “Through the heart… a flood of fears and tears” will be on display until November 24.

Lismore City Council places Nimbin on level 3 water restrictions
Lismore city council will enforce level three water restrictions on Nimbin residents. There are concerns that the town’s water quality could be at risk, if topped up with turbid water due to recent wet weather.
