CONNOR OLEARY & CALLUM ROBSON SURFING IN HEAT 7 OF TAHITI PRO OPENING ROUND
The draw for the Tahiti Pro has been announced – with Far North Coast surfers, Callum Robson and Connor O’Leary pitted against each other in the opening round. They’ll also surf against American Jake Marshall in Heat 7. The competition is expected to get underway on Thursday. (NO AUDIO)

LENNOX TROJANS BEAT BANGALOW REBELS IN ROUND 14 OF FNCRU COMPETITION
Underdog, Lismore City has finally come out on top in round 14 of the Far North Coast Rugby Union, with an 11 point win over Casuarina. In other matches, Ballina dominated Byron Bay 48 to 13, and Lennox got the better of Bangalow.

ALSTONVILLE FC GALA DAY CELEBRATES CLUB’S 50TH ANNIVERSARY
After three years of being covid postponements the Alstonville Football Club Gala Day finally made its return today, hosting 110 miniroos teams from age 6 to 11. A thousand kids took to the football fields, each playing four to six games every 20 minutes, depending on age group.
