An 81-year-old woman is in a serious but stable condition after the pedestrian was hit by a car on Moon street in Ballina at 10am this morning. PARAMEDICS FORCED INTO ISOLATION AFTER TREATING COVID POSITIVE MAN
Eight paramedics have been forced into isolation after treating a covid-positive man injured in a car accident near Taree on Sunday. A New South Wales Ambulance spokesperson says six will isolate for two weeks and two for five days. The service says the incident won’t leave the area short staffed.

MOTORCYCLIST INJURED AT SOUTH WEST ROCKS
A motorcyclist has been airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition, following a collision with a car at South West Rocks last night. Paramedics treated the 39-year-old male rider at the scene for serious lower leg and ankle injuries. He was transported to hospital in a stable condition.

A baby girl has escaped serious injury, after falling down a flight of stairs at Bateau Bay. Emergency services were called to a Poplars Avenue address shortly before 11:30 this morning. The 11-month-old was airlifted to John Hunter Children’s Hospital with minor head and arm injuries.
