Worker bitten by a suspected brown snake at nursery
A woman working at Alstonville’s Alpine Nursery has been bitten on the hand, by a suspected brown snake. She received first aid on site before paramedics arrived. She was taken to Lismore Base Hospital in a stable condition. (NO AUDIO)

NEW AMBULANCE STATIONS FOR OLD BAR AND FORSTER
Old Bar and Forster will receive new ambulance stations – as the state government upgrades rural infrastructure. It’s hoped they will improve response times and help save lives, as the population grows.

NEW AMBULANCES FOR CENTRAL COAST
Twelve new ambulance vehicles will arrive on the Central Coast by next month. The class one vehicles, feature life-saving equipment such as defibrillators. They will be deployed to six locations, including Point Clare station. (VISION ONLY.)
