BALLINA’S MITCHELL AUBUSSON TO PLAY HIS 300TH NRL GAME THIS WEEK
Ballina’s, Mitchell Aubusson will play his 300th NRL game with the Roosters this week. The ex-seagulls player will become the third Roosters player to make 300 first-grade appearances. Currently in 4th place on the ladder, The Roosters take on St George Illawarra in Wollongong tomorrow night. (NO AUDIO)

Ballina looks to be on a winning streak after defeating the Marist Brother Rams in round two of the rebooted NRRRL season. It was a tight contest, but in the end the Seagulls were too good, taking the win 28-16.

The Ballina Seagulls are going for a back-to-back premierships in the NRRRL next season, after signing another former NRL great. Front-rower Luke Douglas will be stepping into the position of captain-coach, taking over from champion centre Jamie Lyon.

Ballina are the NRRRL ladder leaders after a big win over Northern United. Murwillumbah outclassed Kyogle and Mullumbimby edged out Evans Head in a close game. In other games, Tweed Coast beat Casino 26-20, and Byron Bay got home against Marist Brothers 36 points to 10.

CARNEY VS LYON IN NRRRL MATCH OF THE SEASON
NRRRL round 8 and Marist Brothers defeated Northern United. While Ballina outclassed Byron and the Tweed Coast edged out Cudgen. In other games, Murwillumbah beat Mullumbimby by 18-points, and Casino defeated Kyogle.

BALLINA SEAGULLS FORGE AHEAD IN NRRRL COMPETITON
Round three of the NRRRL saw the Ballina Seagulls have a convincing win over the Mullumbimby. The Giants were hard in defence but it wasn’t enough to bring home a win, the Seagulls triumphant – 32-6.
