    Promising young surfer Sam Morgan remains in a stable condition, after being bitten by a bull shark in Ballina on Tuesday. Today the state government announced funding for an observation tower on the beach where he was attacked.

    A 20-year-old man is in an induced coma, after being attacked by a shark at Ballina yesterday evening. Sam Morgan was surfing at North Wall, when it’s believed a bull shark bit him on the leg. It’s the 14th attack in New South Wales this year, and the ninth between Evans Head and Byron Bay.
