ARTISTS CALLED UPON TO DESIGN BIG PELICAN FOR THE ENTRANCE
The call has gone out for Central Coast artists to design a new signature statue for The Entrance. The Big Pelican will need to stand five metres tall in Memorial Park. It should also be made of environmentally sustainable materials. Creatives will have until June 29 to make their bid. (VISION ONLY.)

A plan has been hatched to build a Big Pelican to draw more tourists to The Entrance. Council will next week vote on whether the waterfront suburb really needs another larger than life animal.
