Its been the bugbear of the Harrington community for decades but finally residents are getting their first look at designs for a highway overpass. While a start date hasn’t been finalised, the State government is asking for feedback to get the project just right.

MOTORCYCLIST INJURED WEST OF COOPERNOOK
Police are working to determine how a motorbike rider was injured in an accident west of Coopernook this morning. Emergency services found the 19-year-old man shortly before 7 o’clock in a ditch – suffering serious head and leg injuries. He was treated by paramedics before being airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.

FIVE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN MULTI-VEHICLE CRASH NEAR COOPERNOOK
Five people are lucky to have escaped serious injury following a multi-vehicle crash near Coopernook this afternoon. Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway around 1:30. A 22-year-old woman was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital in a stable condition with minor leg injuries and neck pain. (VISION ONLY)
