The Northern New South Wales Local Health District recorded another 1099 new covid cases in the past 24 hours. 55 people are being treated in hospital, seven are in ICU. The Tweed region continues to record the most number of daily infections, recording 344. (NO AUDIO)

NNSW LOCAL HEALTH DISTRICT COVID UPDATE
The Northern Health District recorded 633 new Covid-19 cases from PCR tests in the latest reporting period. 47 people with the virus are being cared for in hospital, six of those are in ICU. Tweed Heads had the most cases in the region with 351 new infections followed by Byron with 115.
