MAN IN CUSTODY AFTER SHOT FIRED, POLICE STAND OFF
A Central Coast man will remain behind bars until at least April, after a three hour stand off with police in East Gosford overnight. The 51-year-old taken into custody after allegedly discharging a revolver during a domestic violence incident.

HUNDREDS OF COASTIES MARCH OUT AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
The Central Coast remains among the state’s worst areas for domestic violence, with nearly 1,600 assaults reported over the year to June. Survivors, school students, and others put the call out for abuse to stop, marching through The Entrance on Friday.
