Ballina has continued its strong start to the NRRRL season, thrashing Mullumbimby in round six. Bilambil defeated Casino. Tweed took the win over Lower Clarence. Murwillumbah kept Kyogle scoreless. While Byron Bay forfeited to Marist Brothers, Cudgen remains undefeated, beating Evans Head.

Round 5 of the Northern Rivers Rugby League competition has seen dominating scores, with Ballina thrashing Casino 70-10. Northern United prevailed over Lower Clarence 48-26. The Evans Head Bombers are proving a force to be reckoned with in the Northern Rivers Rugby League. Returning to the competition this year, the first-grade side is running undefeated, hoping to make it to the grand final for the first time in history.

KYOGLE TURKEYS OUTCLASS EVANS HEAD BOMBERS
To the NRRRL and ladder leaders the Ballina Seagull’s were defeated by Cudgen in a narrow 22 to 18-point victory. Byron Bay outclassed Mullumbimby, while Casino edged out Northern United. In other games, Murwillumbah beat the Tweed Coast Raiders by 38-points, and Marist Brothers had a bye.
