GOVERNMENT GRANTS TO HELP GROUPS ASSISTING FLOOD RECOVERY EFFORT
Non-government organisations helping Northern Rivers communities rebuild will now receive a leg-up of their own. The State Government, today announcing a total $4.5-million in funding for 16 community groups assisting the flood recovery effort. The funding will cover a broad scope of support services across seven LGA’s in the region.

FREE MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES OPEN IN THE NORTHERN RIVERS
Four flood affected communities in the Northern Rivers have new ‘Safe Havens’ offering mental heath support. Lismore, Murwillumbah, Mullumbimby and Woodburn now have hubs offering free services seven days a week.
