Moist onshore winds will continue along the east coast, causing a few small scattered showers with the cloud cover stealing a percentage of our sunshine. Remaining hot across the North-West.

GAV’S WEATHER: COOLER SOUTH-EAST WINDS HAVE SETTLED IN
Cloudy with scattered showers along the east coast thanks to moist onshore winds. It will still be quite warm for the North-West Plains with partly cloudy skies. The cooler moist South-East winds will continue for most of the first week of 2017 triggering isolated showers for coastal communities.

GAV’S WEATHER – COOL, WET FIRST WEEK OF 2017 ON THE WAY
In north east NSW, the heat wave will continue. Cloud increasing as the trough moves over the Hunter and southern parts of the North-West tonight and tomorrow morning. Rain and storms will develop as cooler weather slowly creeps north. 2017 will get off to a cooler wet start during the first week.
