Group 4 has lost the Walcha Roos to Group 19 ahead of this year’s rugby league season. It comes as Bundarra tried to jump ship from Group 19 to Group 4.

It was a competition centred around participation, rather than points. A day all about boosting player numbers and curbing the dropout rate, with Group 19 junior rugby league hosting a nines tournament.  

Moree and Armidale have impressed in the opening round of the Group 19 women’s Rugby League Nines. The four-week competition is set to provide a pathway to representative squads.

In true fairytale style, the Narwan Eels have made their way to the Group 19 grand final in their first back in the competition. It will undoubtedly be a heated match tomorrow, as they battle the minor premiers for the silverware.
